Meet The Yes Girls™: The Original Proposal Planners

"Spreading Thoughtfulness from the start through one personalized proposal at a time."

The Yes Girls found a niche in marriage proposal planning but we adore and specialize in wedding anniversary and wedding planning too. Basically we love ALL things involving romance! We recognize the pressure it can be on gentlemen when it comes to "popping the question" or on a spouse trying to plan a truly romantic wedding anniversary. We are abundant in creativity, alleviate any worries you have while creating and planning your proposal, and assist you in making your customized and unique "She Said Yes" moment a flawless celebration. The Yes Girls will take your proposal or special occasion from thoughtless to thoughtful!

The Yes Girls Events was founded in 2008 on the passion and life-long dream of our President, Heather Vaughn, the original proposal planner. Our event planning expertise, allows us to produce fresh and creative ideas for every proposal, wedding and client. The Yes Girls believe exceptional proposals, weddings and events are created by building relationships with our clients, so that every detail is communicated. Your event and planning experience will reflect you! It is our pleasure to answer any questions you may have so please feel free to contact us!

Location

We have coordinators located in Northern and Southern, CA available to meet and plan your unforgettable event. However, we plan marriage proposals and weddings across the US and abroad.

Your thoughtfulness doesn't stop after she says "yes." The Yes Girls donate 5 percent of every Simply Perfect Proposal Package's profit and 2 percent of our wedding package profits to Rahab Bazaar. Heather Vaughn, President

Heather

Since I can remember, I aspired to be a wedding coordinator. I love meeting couples and getting the opportunity to be a small part of their story which is what inspired me to start The Yes Girls Events. What can I say, creating a wedding that reflects a relationship's love and style is my passion; this is precisely why I fell in love with assisting gentlemen with their marriage proposal moment. I started helping these amazing guys, head-over-heels for their sweethearts, with creative and personal proposals. Now I'm hooked.

After graduating from the University of Colorado's Journalism School, I am finally channeling my love for creativity via The Yes Girls. Brainstorming and creating one-of-a-kind marriage proposal ideas or personalizing a wedding day is not too shabby. Thankfully I am blessed to have my husband, Kyle, who always supports my passionate personality, no matter how extreme my ideas may be! Some may find it crazy that I asked my best friends to join The Yes Girls Events, but it makes my "job," not a job. I love it!

I have always loved people, building relationships and seeing them gather together and have a wonderful time! I graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Communications with an emphasis in Human Relations and a minor in Psychology of Leadership. While at school I always found myself loving to host parties and events with my friends! I even created a "fake wedding" that my friends and I still talk about today!

I grew up watching my Mom plan events as well as weddings. It just seemed like the perfect fit to take my love of people and events and direct it towards planning weddings and creating unbelievable marriage proposal ideas. Did I mention I get to work with my best friends? Enough said!

I can't deny it, I love my job! Not only do I get to coordinate amazing marriage proposals but I get to work closely with my best friends. There is nothing quite like seeing the final outcome after all the time and planning that we put into every proposal.

After graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University, there was no doubt that I wanted to be a part of The Yes Girls Events team. I was born a planner. I love taking care of the final details and touches. I cross the "T's" and dot the "I's". With each proposal I assist, my passion and love for that "Yes" moment grows deeper. It is an amazing experience to be apart of.

The obsession with weddings and all things love and lovely began with my first Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, the Fall 1998 edition. Yes, I've been wanting to do this job since I was 13 years old. For me, marriage proposals and weddings are so symbolically heavenly. Chock full of love, family, beauty, friendship, flowers…I mean really, when do we get to surround ourselves in such a concentrated way with all things good? And marriage proposals… they really are the best. I love working with these wonderful, loving guys that just delight in carefully creating a special moment for their girlfriends, as they both agree to start life together.
